8th Annual Paw Paw Festival in Frederick, Maryland

If you are looking for the perfect way to say goodbye to the 2023 summer season, look no further than the 8th Annual Paw Paw Festival! Hosted at the Long Creek Homestead in Frederick, Maryland, the festival will take place on Saturday, September 16, from 12–5 pm. Come ready for groovy live music, delicious food, and paw-paw ice cream that will surely be a highlight of the summer!

General admission is $22 ($24.81 with service fee). Kids under 12 enter free, so this is the perfect event for the whole family! An excellent schedule of activities is prepared, including various presentations on beneficial homesteading and foraging courses such as beekeeping, jam making, and the art of sourdough bread as well as the multiple food forest and plant tours the festival is known for. Kids can look forward to a dedicated kid zone and story time for the younger ones.

The festival will be held rain or shine, so make sure to dress accordingly!
